SPEECH FOR DUMB

This project is all about making a dumb to virtually speak. Here the person who is actually dumb is allowed wear gloves in his hand.(preferably surgical gloves). Electrodes are placed in every partition of a finger.A Reference electrode is placed in the tip of the forefingers.When this reference electrodes get in touch with other electrodes, arrangements are done to create a unique trigger in the controller. According to the metals contacted a word or a letter is pronounced by using a speaker and the controller.

INTELLIGENT IRRIGATION SYSTEM

ABSTRACT:

Farmers of Tamilnadu face a very serious crisis to irrigate their farms .When Electronics and Agriculture are integrated, then new evolution in the field can happen. Drip irrigation systems are implemented to optimize the amount of water irrigated to lands. They are operated manually. This project brings automation in this field.

In drip irrigation systems valves are opened and closed one by one sequentially. This opening and closing is automated with the help of microcontrollers and electromagnetic valves. The motor switches on automatically once in every 24 hours, when there is a three phase supply. It also consists of an LCD display to show the status of the system. The whole project has three versions. The features are as follows.

Version 1: Three phase current detection, checking for water in well or tank, block detection, start and stop indication.

Version 2: Manual setting of time for each valve, current failure interruption prevention.

Version 3: Rain detection and delaying of irrigation process according to amount of rain, GSM integration and simplex communication of system with owner

This is my first idea, but gone in vain..
